So this is my first ever blog post.
The house is back in order after the Zeal team and others came here and abused the laptop, drank too much and did supermans down the stairs til 6am! Party on.
I've been practicing in the garden since. C'mon the summer!

Gnarly pic

This is a picture of bomber from devon when he busted his leg. it freaks me out as he is laying on his belly. Get well soon man and live fast land flat ! maybe not so hard next time?

Ant Pearson web edit

So, i volunteered myself to film and edit for Ant when i heard about this blog page. Most of the clips were filmed recently in glorious Essex/Suffolk using 3chip and HD, however crappy moviemaker wont let me capture in HD :(
Anyway, this is the first video of many i hope, showcasing the skills of Mr Pearson.
Enjoy!

OOhhh! Upside down!

I took some pics of Zeal team rider Pete from Harrow the other day. It was fun. He nearly scraped his head on the floor a few times. Observe.

You can click on the pics to enlarge them.

Bruza May Update

well... got back from highway to hill Tuesday morn last week. Berlin was amazing, a week of chilling at the Mecca of bmx mellow park, with lake jumps, trails, the best outdoor skate park in Europe, getting crunk every night and then sleeping in a tee-pee with a Hench Hungarian (bazsi), the local German (Isaac), the friendly giant (Billy), and the sarkiest lad in the south (josh).Riding went off every day, the sun was booming and caufmark was a treat!

The day of the comp was one to remember... me, bazsi, isaac and josh we were all in the same group! was a session! all the lads were shredding and everyone was stoked with there runs.

After qualifications was the after party! the alcohol was flowing and everyone seemed to be having a good time... until the Brits turned up! me and billy put the party to another level! mad mosh/rave pits, live bands, Germans that looked like relatives of hagrid, you name it were all now in full force by now.

Nicki (from the Netherlands) turned up with a permanent marker and persisted to abused me with the marker. i was graffed up a treat and after that the party only got better.

while staggering back to the tee-pee, i found that me, isaac and bazsi had all qualified! so now started the process of sobering up...

on the day of the finals, woke up still pretty steemin and hung over, dreading my final run after calling something big if i made the finals... all the big guns were out getting ready. the sun was boomin and everyone seemed in good spirits from the night before. i managed to finish 12th with nearly sending a whip drop in of a 8ft wall ride. everyone else rode amazing! isaac nearly sent a triple, bazsi tried to front flip of the moon!, some geeza from the Netherlands did a silly downside whip gap, felix was going huge, some geeza called sergej was blowing every ones minds with his ridicules bike control and basically everyone was goin off . so at the end of the day everyone was chuffed and was looking forward to a well earned rest!

getting home one the Tuesday morning at about ten at Luton, i finally got home at about 4 in the afternoon, was a mission but the weather was SWEET so i went and had a session at the park tranna get use to the normal ramps.... haha

went out riding after work on Wednesday and got a couple of shots from Chester P down the park

after that went to the trails to have a session and managed to get a bar end in my face. so i spent the rest of the night in a&e getting seven stitches in mu lip. sweet! and then on Friday i had a gory operation on my toe nail which i wont go into much detail about...

so for the last week, i have just been chillin down the park, fortunately i can still ride but hopefully next week i can get padded up and sessioning again! this weekend going to Blackpool for my cousins wedding and to ride Blackpool's ramp city! which is also AMAZING! and my stiches our the end of the week! so i canny wait!

Thanks to all the boys who went to Germany with me, was a treat! (gotta get the zeal team over there before it is knocked down!) and the a&e lady for sewing up my lip! :)

Trip to Aberdeen

Friday 9th may. The 2o twenty jam took place this weekend at the massive indoor park called Transition extreme which i personally really love. The guys that joined me were Lee Boyle, Martyn Cooper and team mascot Big money Brian. We got there Friday morning and met up with johnny mingo of 20 twenty fame and Neil Keddie Alone and zeal Team rider at the airport. They took us straight to the park so we could get in to riding immediately. we met up with Gav Shorthall and shuan jinks from proper and rode with them for a bit, they are super nice guys. There was talk of going out Friday night but everyone bailed out in favour of TV and pizza at Neils place.

Contest day, We turned up quite late and saw the park being shredded by the 70's, 4 down and img teams also there was loads of really rad rider from all over Scotland ripping it up. we found out that the jam format was going to be run in distro teams which made for an easy time just riding with guys we new. Neil did a massive transfer line and put his mark on the skate park with his chain stay . si gibb blasted like he normally does even though he got hit by a car at the end of a rail in Athens Georgia 2 weeks ago. Big money did a load of fakie stuff,(backwards is the new forwards). Lee misraboyle did 1 manual over a block looped out and gave up riding the contest for some unknown reason???? Just not his day. All the teams killed it , it was a treat to watch Scott Ditchburn ride that guy is so gnar. I had to run the bowl contest as mingo had to go to the hospital to get his leg stitched up from a crash in the street event. not so many people entered this one as they were knackered from the street course, everyone rode real good and it was between Gav and Martyn, Gav had the flow and Martyn did all his banging trick like double whips and a shit load of lip trickery. So i asked a few people who they thought took the win and they all said Martyn, i didn't want to seem bias but he did kill it.

Saturday night, Went out met everyone in a boozer having a few then someone drops a glass and it seems to catch on , just like the good old days of Bmx gatherings. Anyway it all gets broken up by the cops and i here that Bas keep had to go to A&E to get some stitches in his hand from broken glass. we went to the tunnels for a bit where it was dead so we escaped from there with a bottle of after shock and cruised into the scream bar jumping the Que with the bottle in my pants.
after that i cant really remember what went on but good times were had by all.

Sunday, we wanted to go street riding but the weather was turning a bit crap so we ended up back at the park and we all learnt some new stunts. checking of the trick list with the zeal team has ME in stitches. End of the evening we said our good byes and packed the bikes up ready for home back to Luton airport. Flights were only £86 with bike. so i recomend it if you fancy taking in a great skate park.

All the guys up there that helped us out thank you so much and i hope to see you next year.

Ps: Try and not have it on my 2nd year anniversary though.
