Whooooa.... Cancel my new Standard frame I'm getting one of these bad boys.

So I'm driving to work today and I see this poster saying Tesco are selling BMX bikes for £39.99 and at the same time as I drive past this poster there is an ad on the radio for Tesco saying BMX bikes are now just £39.99

I have mixed feelings on this but fuck it... it deserves a rant.
The BIG co-operate powerhouse stores just keep getting bigger and bigger, recession or not! they ain't taking no prisoners. Are things getting so bad that in the future we will only have a two or three business in existence selling us everything?.... How about a Tesco value car? House?..

On the other hand, guess it is not so bad. If it gets a youngster into BMX and come boxing day when the shops re-open and daddy has to take junior into the local bike shop to get these suckers fixed because they folded jumping off a curb the bike shop can open their eyes at to how crappy the bike they have is.

I really dunno what to think?..... discuss

Gammy Toe...

A few weeks ago i had a pretty savage opp on my toe... yess you heard me right, my toe! was pretty brutal as i watched the whole thing while the doc was digging round the bed of my nail with a scalpal and then rippin it out with some tweesers. Check out the pick below of the finished product and hopefully i will find one i had after the opp when it got infected... set you up nicely for tea!

Bmx race champ? pegs gyro and a front brake???

I spent the weekend down in Cornwall a few weeks ago and ended up at the track where they have rad dirt jumps full on race track, massive foam pit out doors and a ressy jump box and quarter pipes. i was then bullied in to racing round the track in 3 motos in between doing flips on the ressy and trying to teach mtb kids to tailwhip over the ressy box. 1st moto i won 2nd moto dead last 3rd moto i won, then in the final i mucked up the gate start and was last in the first corner then i managed to catch people up and get a 3rd over all, then i had to leave to get back to London and didnt realize i got a medal for my efforts, it turned up this morning thanks to Toby grizzwold posting it up to me. really put a smile on my face today. :-)

Myself and the guys from the house of doom ended up going to the crossfire halloween massacre in london . skate ramp live bands and dj sets from some famous bedroom dj people? turned out to be a good night and people really made an effort with all the costumes.
