Harrow bmx jam 30th birthday/ death of a legend

I'm so glad its all over now all the stress was getting to me about if people would turn up? would it dry up? getting the bbq built in time , building the massive sub box with the help of Nigel and his tools in the pissing rain the day before. will all the people staying at my place fit in the house? would the bands get there with all the right equipment blah blah blah.

On the day it turned out really good, the sun was shinning and people were turning up all the time i owe a massive thank you to my girl for sorting out the amazing food and cooking it and serving it to all that showed up we went though 450 burger's and sausages, also a big thanks to my ma and pa who helped out with cooking the food and being on hand with generators and such.

Redbull made the day by supplying free redbull and redbul cola to everyone including the bastard kids that didn't ride but just took 10 cans a time and passed them over the fence to there older brothers, good old harrow park.

A massive thanks goes to the bands Miss Nicarugua and Beyond reasonable Doubt for playing and getting all their gear from south london it really gave the day a great atmosphere.

Thanks to everyone that turned up and made it happen. eastpak, carhartt, segment and zeal for the prize's

Bad points were a little rain stopped the riding for 30mins at about 530pm and just before that a gang were wanting to fight one guy because they thought he looked like someone else who gave them a beat down a few months ago for trying to take peoples bikes and skateboards . some one should tell them about karma, what goes around comes around.

This is what the time line is going to be for the skate park, lets hope Harrow council stick to it?
