Kingston Jam - Bailey Wins!!!

Had a cool jam down the local skatepark yesterday.... good times. Then there was the jam after party .... messy times. The Mega Drink was in full effect. Bailey won the sticker placement comp with this photo (no, not the one of his penis). Good to see the local riders out getting their swagger on!!

Trails and Chinese Food

Went down the local mud jumps tonight. Got there to find The Boyle had smashed his face in on the last set. Think he went home to get the inside of his mouth stitched back together.
After mooching about down there for a bit..... went and got a chinese. Bosh.

DANGERS OF MEGA DRINK

Friday night started of with some drinks down the mill one of drinks included Bells very own mega drink shit is FUNKY!
Then headed to cricketers but all i remember was making out with a chick who was old enough to be my mum on the way (MILF).
If a chick ever asks you why your wearing a helmet and riding a kids bike just say ur a pro and get payed for it, hey it worked for me!
Soon after got thrown out the cricketers, apperntly throwing drinks at girls who work there is frowned upon.
Payed bell back for the mega drink by buying him some chicken but soon lost him so his sofa to crash on was long gone.
But i found hope with 4 hours left untill work i came across the big bin outside work so no problems for being late!

mega drink ingridents

Sputnic: Bryce Toole Q&A and Product Update.

Sputnic have just done a Q&A with Mr Bryce Toole. (Click the image to view!)

Also a little Update on their products range and a photo of Tony Neyer (who gave me some sound ACL surgery and rehab advice, cheers man!)

"To give you a little behind the scenes, the past 7 months we have been working super
hard on redesigning the entire Sputnic collection, now after all the hard work the
2010 collection will be dropping late Summer.

Starting with the Skyline frame, it has been fully redesigned by Tony and the details that he
speced on his new frame are clean and dialed as Neyer is.

Also exciting frame news is this year will be the first ever signature model for
Rickey Bates. I am sure all of you have seen Banned 3 and or the Shadow "Into the
Void" DVDs and if you haven't you need to see it now! You will fully understand why
Rickey has a signature model dropping! Along with a healthy dose of some new parts
including cranks, stems, hubs, seats and apparel this is going to make for the best
Sputnic collection to date.

I would love to give you guys more details about the new products but for now this is
it. Stay tuned and we will be dropping a new site and more details about all the new
products coming out soon.

Thanks to all the riders out there that have stood behind us, you guys rule!"

Check Tony In his mullet here. Sweet.

Zach and myself headed in to town for some free booze and to look at some watches or something?

Check out the link to see the story.

Inverurie needs you!

Mingo of 20twenty sent over a link to a petition to help get Inverurie a new skatepark!

"Inverurie is the home of 20Twenty/BSD team rider Si Gibb and so many other BMXers. Only a few years ago there were more riders in Invergroovy than there was Aberdeen and the scene is still going strong since most of them have moved to the big smog, but in the past few years the park has fallen into disrepair and IInverurie needs and deserves a new park NOW!
Please take a minute and sign the petition Mike walker has set up to get our feelings accross!"

Finally got around to answering the questions!

Have a peep at http://www.fatbmx.com/modules/news/article.php?storyid=7651 if you're interested.

Also, congratulations to Mingo (20Twenty Owner) and Jill, who got married yesterday. Loads of bmxers were in attendance from all over the world, including the boss, Hitcher, and the man from Del Monte! Good times were had by all and I reckon I'll be seeing a few hungover faces later today!

Go vote now

Here’s your chance to help us get funding for an awesome skatepark. All you need to do is click the link below and select “Vote for the King’s Field skate park!” Then choose “Twickenham, St Margarets and Teddington - King’s Field skate park” It only takes a second! (You can only vote once on one web browser)

Twickenham St Margarets and Teddington Capital Projects

King’s Field skate park - £90,000

Kings Field skatepark is the only skate, BMX, in-line skate facility in Richmond upon Thames. It is extremely well used and attracts over 12,000 young people every year. The new KCafé project next to the skate park also offers youth sessions, youth employment (at the café) and assists in the organisation of regular competitions and trips to other skate facilities and a yearly residential, ‘the skate and surf safari’. There is also a new mobile ramp facility that will offer young skaters employment as skate or BMX tutors at local youth clubs and schools and in local parks.

Plans for world class concrete bowl and street scene skate park have been developed and are supported by the borough parks (who have promised £30,000 to the project). This is required as the current ramps are coming to the end of their lives and are increasingly dangerous. If funding is secured the park reconstruction will be completed by May 2010. In addition to skate activities, KCafé will offer a range of other activities to young people using the site. To complete this rebuild we are seeking £120,000 from the current youth capital strategy to develop a world class skate park. Please, vote King’s Field!
